The road to the 2027 World Club Championship is gathering momentum. From 11 to 14 February, Snapper Rocks will welcome Australia’s best boardriders clubs and a larger international field for four days on the Gold Coast.

The developing club list spans Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Japan, Tahiti, France, Brazil, Portugal, the United Kingdom, South Korea and the United States. With new nations joining the mix and more international teams in contention than ever before, the contest is set to bring an even wider range of clubs and surfing communities to Snapper Rocks.

Australia’s clubs will have plenty to say about the result. From local Gold Coast teams to clubs across the country, they’ll be competing for world championship honours against visitors from some of surfing’s most recognised coastlines.

The contest window runs from 11 to 14 February 2027. Competition is planned over three days, with a lay day available if weather or wave conditions call for it.

More teams. More action. More of the world at Snapper Rocks.
